How we manage your booking and deposit. Cancellation policy. Sadly, due to several "no shows" we have had to introduce this more formal booking policy. I much prefered doing it on trust but sadly other people do not seem to respect that this is our way of making a living and not a hobby!

When we take your booking we will ask for a deposit of 50% of the total booking, either payable by cheque or bank transfer. We will cash the cheques and you will pay the balance at the end of your stay. If you should cancel within 4 weeks of your arrival we will retain the 50% deposit, if you give more notice than this then the deposit is fully refundable. If you are booking within 4 weeks of your arrival we will ask for full payment in advance if this is possible under the time frame. If we manage to relet the room then your deposit will be returned in full.
