Mosterton is a small village between Crewkerne and Beaminster, both busy market towns with excellent shops and local food outlets, cafes and restaurants. Crewkerne has a good weekly auction at TRG Lawrence. Both have delightful little museums.

There is wonderful walking direct from the front door. You can link into several long distance paths, The Wessex Ridgeway, The Monarchs Way, The Liberty Trail, The River Parrett Trail etc www.somerset.gov.uk/somerset/ete/rpt. We have maps to lend you and can give advice on planning your route and even drop you off or pick you up if necessary, wet clothes can be laundered and dried. Picnics available with advance booking.
